Job Description
A recently refurbished, high-performing community pharmacy in the Maclean district is seeking a Pharmacist, Pharmacist in Charge, or Pharmacist Manager for a full-time position. The role focuses on dispensing, checking prescriptions, vaccinating, counselling patients, and leading pharmacy operations. • Position: Pharmacist / Pharmacist in Charge / Pharmacist Manager
• Location: Maclean (19 minutes from Yamba)
• Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours Mon–Fri + alternate Saturday mornings, day off in lieu)
• Salary Range: $55–$70 per hour + Superannuation

Responsibilities
• Accurately dispense and check prescriptions
• Provide patient counselling and healthcare advice
• Deliver vaccination services in line with regulatory guidelines
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and workflow management
• Lead and support pharmacists, dispensary technicians, and front-of-shop staff
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and professional standards
• Maintain quality assurance in medication packing and DAA services

• Dispense System: Z Robot
• DAA Services: Community and nursing homes (packed by technicians)
• Team Structure: 1–2 Pharmacists, 2 Dispensary Technicians, 5–6 Front-of-Shop Staff

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent
• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
• Experience in community pharmacy practice
• Managerial experience (3+ years required for Pharmacist Manager salary range)

Educational Requirements
• Recognized Pharmacy qualification in Australia
• Ongoing CPD compliance as per regulatory standards
