Pharmacist In-Charge

Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations
• Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescriptions
• Provide expert clinical advice and professional healthcare services to customers
• Maintain compliance with AHPRA regulations and pharmacy legislation
• Supervise dispensary workflow and ensure operational efficiency
• Foster a strong customer-focused and collaborative team culture
• Support and mentor pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy assistants
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to pharmacy performance and growth
• Maintain controlled drug registers and regulatory documentation
• Implement and maintain SOPs and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership and head office for strategic initiatives
• Drive community engagement and health promotion programs
• Identify opportunities to enhance professional services and patient outcomes
• Ensure high standards of customer service and patient confidentiality

Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Current AHPRA registration

Experience
• Suitable for newly registered or experienced pharmacists
• Prior experience in a leadership or PIC role advantageous but not essential
