About the Role

Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense and supervise prescriptions using FRED Dispense, BestMED, and Quantum systems
• Check and verify Webster packs and medication sachets
• Oversee and review prescriptions prepared by dispense technicians
• Provide medication counseling to patients, ensuring safe and effective use
• Work closely with nurses and doctors to support aged care medication management
• Support customers as a front-of-shop pharmacist in the community pharmacy
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and professional standards

Qualification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy

Experience
• Registered pharmacist with relevant aged care and/or community pharmacy experience
• Applicants with visa work restrictions or intern status will not be considered

Skills
• Strong knowledge of aged care medication management and dispensing systems
• Experience with FRED Dispense, BestMED, and Quantum (preferred)
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
