Pharmacist - DOH

Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense medications accurately with correct dosage, labeling, and patient counseling
• Verify prescriptions for authenticity, legality, and appropriateness; coordinate with prescribers to resolve issues
• Provide medication counseling on usage, side effects, interactions, and administration
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff; provide training and guidance
• Manage pharmacy inventory including ordering, storage, and disposal of medicines
• Monitor drug utilization and support medication safety initiatives
• Report adverse drug events and implement risk-mitigation measures
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medication records
• Stay updated with pharmaceutical regulations and best practices
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution
• Valid Pharmacist License from the Department of Health (DOH)

Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist
