Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense medications accurately by verifying prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and allergies
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage instructions
• Manage pharmacy operations including inventory, ordering, and storage of medicines
• Provide clinical pharmacy services such as medication therapy management
• Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to ensure safe medication practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles as per regulations
• Stay updated with new drugs, guidelines, and pharmacy practices
• Prepare and compound medications following sterile and non-sterile procedures
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with UAE laws and healthcare regulations
Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
• Pharm.D / Ph.D in Pharmacy
Experience
• 1 – 6 years of experience in hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy
• Minimum 2 years preferred
Skills
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, dosage calculations, and pharmacology
• Experience with pharmacy software and electronic health record systems
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on patient safety
