Pharmaceuticals Research Associate

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead packaging material development for sterile and non-sterile products
• Conduct PIF evaluation and literature review for new product development
• Perform RLD/Innovator packaging material analysis and prepare characterization reports
• Prepare trade dress and packaging development reports
• Propose suitable primary and secondary packaging materials for new products
• Source packaging materials and finalize vendors
• Prepare specifications, STP, Master Packaging Card (MPC), and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Review CFT/CMO documents including BPR
• Prepare threshold analysis reports and DHF documents
• Develop protocols for in-house and external laboratory testing of packaging materials
• Coordinate with CFT teams, customers, CMOs, and suppliers for smooth execution of exhibit batches and documentation
• Prepare Packaging Development SOPs and initiate Change Controls
• Generate bracketing sheets for container closure systems and conduct packaging functionality and design qualification studies

Qualification:
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)

Experience:
• Relevant experience in Packaging Development within pharmaceutical industry preferred

Skills:
• Strong knowledge of primary and secondary packaging materials
• Understanding of sterile and non-sterile product packaging requirements
• Experience with documentation such as MPC, BOM, STP, DHF, and BPR
• Familiarity with Change Control and regulatory documentation processes
• Vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong documentation practices
