Pediatric Occupational Therapist
About the Role
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assess and evaluate developmental, sensory, motor, and functional abilities of pediatric patients
• Design and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for children
• Provide therapy for conditions such as developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and learning difficulties
• Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve fine motor skills, coordination, self-care, and daily living activities
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on response and developmental milestones
• Educate parents and caregivers on home programs, therapy goals, and progress updates
• Maintain accurate patient records, assessments, and therapy documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and special educators
• Ensure a child-friendly, safe, and supportive therapy environment
QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
EXPERIENCE:
• Freshers or experienced pediatric occupational therapists may apply
SKILLS:
• Strong understanding of pediatric development and sensory integration techniques
• Excellent observation, assessment, and treatment planning skills
• Effective communication skills with children, parents, and caregivers
• Patience, empathy, and child-centered therapeutic approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
