Pediatric Occupational Therapist
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Conduct pediatric OT assessments and evaluations
• Plan and deliver individualized, goal-oriented therapy programs
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions using sensory-informed, play-based approaches
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, speech therapists, and families for holistic care
• Maintain therapy documentation and progress reports accurately
• Support parents with practical strategies, guidance, and home program planning
• Contribute to school readiness and functional participation of children
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred)
• Registration with relevant professional council
Experience:
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric occupational therapy practice
• Exposure to early intervention, developmental delays, ASD, ADHD is preferred
Skills Required:
• Sensory Integration (SI) assessment and intervention
• Play therapy and play-based therapeutic approaches
• Fine motor skills and visual-motor integration
• ADL and self-care skill development
• Sensory regulation and emotional modulation
• Parent education and home program planning
• Training in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI), USC/WPS SI, or equivalent frameworks is an advantage
