Pediatric Dentist

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform comprehensive pediatric dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Manage dental conditions such as caries, infections, developmental anomalies, and trauma in children
• Perform pediatric dental procedures including pulpotomies, pulpectomies, stainless-steel crowns, space maintainers, and extractions
• Manage behavior using child-friendly techniques to ensure a stress-free and positive experience
• Counsel parents on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, nutrition, and long-term dental development
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
• Coordinate with orthodontists and other specialists when needed
• Uphold the highest standards of ethics, safety, and infection control

QUALIFICATION:
• MDS in Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry from a recognized institution (mandatory)
• Valid dental license/registration

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience post-MDS (freshers with strong clinical exposure may also apply)

SKILLS:
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with children and parents
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to handle anxious or uncooperative children with patience and confidence
