Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide paediatric occupational therapy services primarily to children aged 0–6 years
• Deliver individual and combined therapy sessions within a multidisciplinary team
• Conduct discipline-specific assessments and implement evidence-based interventions
• Complete assistive technology assessments and reports in line with NDIS guidelines
• Prepare progress reports and relevant documentation
• Manage and build an independent caseload within a supportive practice framework
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other health professionals
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and peer support

Qualification
• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
• Medicare registration (or eligibility)
• Valid Working With Children Check, Police Check/NDIS Worker Screening
• Current Positive Notice Blue Card and Positive Exemption Notice Card

Experience
• Experience or strong interest in early intervention and paediatric therapy
• Experience working with children with cognitive, motor, sensory, physical, and communication needs
• Experience with NDIS report writing and assistive technology assessments (desirable)
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
