Paediatric Occupational Therapist
About the Role
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with neurodivergent children including those with Autism, ADHD, and developmental delays
• Deliver play-based early intervention in natural settings such as home, school, and community
• Build capacity in parents, educators, and key stakeholders
• Collaborate within a transdisciplinary team to support best-practice approaches
• Manage caseload effectively with planning from home and community-based service delivery
• Foster authentic relationships using strength-based and client-centric approaches
QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration required
• Valid driver’s licence with a registered vehicle
EXPERIENCE:
• Passion for paediatrics and neurodiversity-affirming practice
• NDIS experience preferred but not essential
SKILLS:
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Knowledge of early intervention and ADHD therapy
• Client-focused approach with evidence-based practice
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Effective caseload management and organizational skills
