Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality, child-centred Occupational Therapy services to children and adolescents aged 2–18 years.
• Conduct standardised and functional assessments.
• Develop meaningful, family-centred therapy goals.
• Provide evidence-informed intervention across learning, play, home, and community settings.
• Collaborate closely with Speech Pathologists and multidisciplinary clinicians.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and professional reports.
• Independently manage and prioritise a paediatric caseload.

Qualification:
• Qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric clinical practice.
• Experience in sensory processing, motor skills development, and functional intervention planning.

Skills:
• Strong paediatric assessment and intervention skills.
• Sound clinical reasoning and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Family-centred and strengths-based approach to therapy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Requirements:
• Current Working With Children Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• National Police Check.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Full working rights in Australia.
