Oral Health Therapist
About the Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality, cost-effective, sustainable, and client-centred oral healthcare services
· Provide general and emergency dental care
· Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team
· Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards
· Support community outreach and partnership programs
· Contribute to improving oral health outcomes for diverse communities
Qualification:
· Relevant dental qualification
· Eligible for registration with the Dental Practice Board of Victoria
· Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
· Current Medicare provider number
· Current Radiation Use Licence
· Current Working with Children Check
Experience:
· Experience in Victorian public dental services preferred
· Experience providing general and emergency dental care
· Experience working in fast-paced clinical environments
Skills:
· Strong understanding of infection control standards
· Excellent communication skills
· Cultural awareness and empathy
· Ability to work effectively within a team
· Strong organisational and time management skills
