Attention To Dental is recruiting a full-time Oral Health Therapist / Dental Hygienist for a modern dental clinic in Geelong, VIC. The role involves providing preventive and restorative oral healthcare, performing clinical assessments, and supporting the dental team with patient care and education.

Responsibilities
• Assess and treat dental disease in children and adolescents
• Provide general dental treatments including cleaning, polishing, fillings, and radiographs
• Extract baby teeth under local anaesthetic
• Refer complex dental cases to dentists
• Deliver oral health education and preventative care
• Perform oral health assessments and treatment planning
• Provide periodontal and preventive oral health care
• Complete dental prophylaxis including removal of deposits and stains
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal assessments
• Take and interpret dental radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and plaque control
• Collaborate with dentists and the wider clinical team
• Maintain equipment and clinical supplies, monitor inventory, and order stock
• Support infection control protocols
• Participate in professional development activities
Required Qualification
• Bachelor degree in Oral Health Therapy approved by the Dental Board of Australia
• Current AHPRA registration
• X-ray licence (able to take OPGs)
• Knowledge of ADA Infection Control Guidelines and AS/NZS 4815 standards
