Ophthalmologist

Role & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat eye disorders and vision-related conditions
• Perform cataract surgeries and assist in refractive procedures
• Conduct laser treatments including LASIK and related procedures
• Carry out detailed patient consultations and eye examinations
• Prescribe corrective lenses and appropriate medications
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up to surgical patients
• Collaborate with optometrists and other medical professionals
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical safety

Qualification:

• MS / MD / DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution
• Registered with State Medical Council / NMC

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of post-PG experience
• Hands-on experience in cataract surgery mandatory

Skills:

• Strong diagnostic and surgical ophthalmology skills
• Experience in cataract surgery
• Interest or exposure to refractive surgery (LASIK / ICL preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
