Officer / Senior Officer / Executive - Production (Solid Dosage Form)
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Execute production activities for solid dosage forms including compression, coating, granulation, and blending
• Operate and monitor equipment such as RMG, FBD, Compression machines, Coating machines, and Blenders
• Ensure adherence to approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)
• Maintain production logbooks and documentation accurately in real time
• Perform line clearance before and after batch execution
• Monitor in-process parameters and coordinate with IPQA for sampling and checks
• Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines and applicable SOPs
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in production areas
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Warehouse departments
• Identify and report deviations, breakdowns, or non-conformances
• Support process validation, scale-up, and technology transfer activities
• Ensure proper status labeling of materials, equipment, and areas
• Monitor yield reconciliation and minimize process losses
• Participate in deviation investigations and CAPA implementation
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental policies
• Supervise shop floor activities and guide junior staff when required
• Ensure timely completion of production targets as per schedule
Qualification
• B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) / M.Pharm (Master of Pharmacy)
Experience
• 3 to 8 years of experience in solid oral dosage manufacturing
• Experience in compression, coating, granulation, and blending operations
• Exposure to regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
Skills
• Strong knowledge of solid dosage manufacturing processes
• Good understanding of cGMP and regulatory compliance
• BMR documentation expertise
• Equipment handling and basic troubleshooting skills
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Teamwork and shift flexibility
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
