Occupational Therapist- Workplace Rehabilitation

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of clients with physical injuries, providing return-to-work rehabilitation services.
• Conduct initial assessments to determine injury impact, recovery timeframes, and return-to-work goals.
• Perform one-off Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments and provide recommendations.
• Visit workplaces to assess job demands and identify suitable duties in collaboration with employers.
• Provide recommendations for community assistance or additional support via insurers.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and compliance reports.
• Apply clinical reasoning to guide injured workers toward safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

Qualification:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• General Registration with AHPRA
• Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
• Police Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

Experience:
• Open to New Graduates and Experienced Occupational Therapists
• Experience or strong interest in occupational rehabilitation preferred
• Understanding of workers' compensation framework (training provided)

• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Report writing and compliance documentation skills
