Occupational Therapist Senior (Demand Response Service)

Roles and responsibilities
• Deliver high-level occupational therapy clinical services across multi-specialty areas within the Demand Response Service.
• Provide leadership, clinical guidance, and operational support to occupational therapy staff.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team practice to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
• Advocate for occupational therapy services and acute care priorities.
• Support service improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities.
• Manage complex caseloads in a dynamic and high-volume clinical environment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with governance and compliance standards.
• Participate in departmental planning, professional supervision, and mentoring of junior staff and students.

Qualifications
• Tertiary Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Valid Driver Licence.
• Evidence of required vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, etc.).
• Tuberculosis screening clearance.

Experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering advanced occupational therapy services in acute or multi-specialty healthcare settings.
• Experience in clinical leadership or senior-level practice.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing complex clinical presentations and high-demand caseloads.
