Occupational Therapist (Level 1/2)

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality recovery-oriented occupational therapy services in accordance with AHPRA ethical and professional standards
• Provide professional recovery-focused services to consumers and families/carers
• Conduct psychosocial assessments
• Identify and establish recovery goals with consumers
• Apply motivational interviewing techniques
• Provide guidance and structured support to assist consumers in achieving identified goals
• Provide information, referral, and advocacy services
• Design, implement, facilitate, and evaluate therapeutic group programs
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary mental health team
• Contribute to consumer care within the 8-week voluntary recovery program

Qualification:
• Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Valid Working With Children Check
• Compliance with NSW Health Category A immunisation requirements

Experience:
• Experience in mental health settings (desirable)
• Experience in recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practice (preferred)
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team (advantageous)
