Occupational Therapist

Roles & responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed assessments of patients’ functional abilities, physical and cognitive limitations, and daily living challenges
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and adaptive equipment to improve patient independence and quality of life
• Document patient progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and adaptive strategies
• Participate in continuing education, workshops, and professional development activities
• Ensure adherence to professional standards and AIOTA guidelines

Qualifications:
• BOT / MOT (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy) – AIOTA membership preferred

Experience:
• Freshers and experienced therapists can apply
• Experience in rehabilitation centers or hospitals is an advantage

Skills required:
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological, orthopedic, and developmental conditions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members
• Empathy, patience, and a patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
