Occupational Therapist
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy interventions for residents
• Assess residents’ physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and occupational capacities and needs
• Develop, implement, and review care plans promoting occupational participation, reablement, and wellbeing
• Use adaptive technology to support resident comfort, safety, and independence
• Complete documentation in line with organisational and AN-ACC requirements
• Supervise and support occupational therapy assistants
• Contribute to staff development and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years working with older adults, preferably in residential care settings
• Knowledge of AN-ACC and Aged Care Quality Standards is desirable
Skills:
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide person-centred care
