Occupational Therapist

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assess children with developmental delays, neurological disorders, and learning difficulties
• Design and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Conduct structured and play-based therapy sessions to improve motor, sensory, cognitive, and daily living skills
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and special educators
• Guide and educate parents/caregivers on home-based strategies to support the child’s development
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and modify intervention plans as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date assessment reports, therapy notes, and progress documentation
• Ensure a safe, child-friendly, and supportive therapeutic environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution

EXPERIENCE:
• Prior experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
• Exposure to developmental delays, neurological disorders, or special needs children is an advantage

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy and rehabilitation practices
• Understanding of child development and sensory integration techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Assessment, planning, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and child-centric approach to therapy
