Occupational Therapist

Roles and responsibilities
• Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, treatment planning, education, and clinical reporting.
• Manage a caseload of adult clients with neurological conditions including traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disability.
• Prescribe and prepare funding applications for assistive technology (AT).
• Support clients using a person-centred approach to promote independence and inclusion.
• Collaborate within a structured multidisciplinary team.
• Provide supervision to junior Occupational Therapists (for senior clinicians).
• Contribute to service development and clinical excellence within the clinic.

Qualifications
• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Experience
• Minimum 2+ years of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Experience working with neurological conditions (desirable).
• Experience working within the NDIS framework (desirable).
• Experience prescribing assistive technology (desirable).

Skills
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
• Knowledge of assistive technology prescription and funding processes.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Commitment to inclusive, client-centred care.

• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.
