About the Role
Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide community-based neuro rehabilitation services to adults with TBI, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and progressive neurological conditions
• Manage a varied caseload including NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe, aged care, and private clients
• Deliver client-centred interventions to support independence at home and in the community
• Conduct functional assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team across Melbourne’s Western suburbs
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Qualification
• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Experience
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation (community or clinical setting preferred)
• Experience working with adult clients with complex neurological conditions (desirable)
• Open to clinicians transitioning into community neuro with support and mentoring
Skills
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage caseload independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with effective time management
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
