Responsibilities

• Assess rehabilitation and treatment needs of individuals with work-related or non-work-related injuries
• Conduct assessments including initial needs assessments, workplace assessments, ergonomics reviews, and activities of daily living evaluations
• Perform specialist functional and pre-employment assessments such as audiometry, spirometry, and drug and alcohol testing
• Support clients in identifying suitable employment or training opportunities based on their skills and interests
• Manage rehabilitation cases, coordinating services and monitoring progress toward return-to-work goals
• Build strong relationships with employers, clients, and other stakeholders to support successful rehabilitation outcomes

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Exercise Physiology

Important Requirements

• Eligibility for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
• Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating in early 2026
• Current Working With Children Check
• National Criminal History Check clearance
• Full driver’s licence
• Eligibility for Comcare accreditation (desirable but not essential)
