Nursing Educator

Role & Responsibilities
• Plan, implement, and evaluate structured education and training programs for nursing staff
• Develop and deliver orientation programs for newly joined nurses
• Conduct in-service training, skills workshops, CME sessions, and competency assessments
• Coordinate training schedules across departments to ensure coverage of learning needs
• Guide and support Clinical Instructors in unit-based training delivery
• Ensure standardized teaching methods and competency checklists are followed
• Monitor training effectiveness and provide feedback to Clinical Instructors
• Conduct clinical competency evaluations through observation and skills assessments
• Identify knowledge and performance gaps via audits and recommend targeted training
• Ensure nursing education compliance with NABH and JCI standards
• Develop and update SOP-based training materials and competency frameworks
• Integrate simulation-based and scenario-based teaching methodologies
• Provide bedside teaching and hands-on clinical guidance during critical procedures
• Mentor nursing staff in professional conduct, communication, and patient safety
• Maintain detailed training records and submit reports to the Chief Nursing Officer

Qualification
• Bsc Nursing or Msc Nursing from a recognized institution
• Valid nursing registration as per state or national council norms

Experience
• 5 to 8 years of total nursing experience
• Minimum 1 to 2 years in nursing education, training, or senior clinical roles
• Experience in NABH or JCI-accredited hospitals preferred
