Nominated Signatory and Medical Information Manager

Roles & Responsibilities
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials and activities, including HCP/HCO and patient engagements, in line with AZ Code of Ethics, global standards, local policies, and industry regulations
• Oversee Medical Information activities across the Gulf to ensure compliant, accurate, timely, and fair-balanced responses to unsolicited medical inquiries
• Support audit and inspection readiness, including CAPA development, implementation, and timely closure
• Execute Medical Governance and Operations strategy for assigned therapy areas
• Contribute to policy and SOP lifecycle management, process improvement, and simplification initiatives
• Plan and deliver governance, compliance, and SOP training for cross-functional stakeholders (Medical, Marketing, Sales, etc.)

Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine or Pharmacy

Experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven background in Medical Affairs with compliance and/or Nominated Signatory responsibilities
• Experience in AZ therapy areas and Gulf cluster operations is an advantage

Skills
• Strong understanding of Gulf pharmaceutical regulations, governing frameworks, and compliance requirements
• In-depth knowledge of Codes of Ethics, ethical interaction standards, and industry legislations
• Certified Nominated Signatory
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Project management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with AE reporting, privacy impact assessments (PIA), and digital/IT risk processes (RID)
• Fluency in English
