Medical Writer Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and review high-quality medical content for promotional and non-promotional materials
• Build strong understanding of brand strategy, disease area, and therapeutic category
• Ensure content tone, style, and structure align with creative briefs and client expectations
• Translate clinical studies, product monographs, and scientific publications into clear, compliant medical content
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising requirements
• Work extensively on Veeva Vault Promo Materials (VVPM) workflows
• Perform accurate reference tagging, linking, annotation, and citation management
• Support Medical Legal Review (MLR) submissions in line with client and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain modular content for omnichannel marketing initiatives
• Create and manage content matrices and core claims documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant content delivery

Qualification
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related scientific discipline

Experience
• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Medical Writer or Medical Content Specialist
• Strong hands-on experience with promotional and non-promotional medical writing
• Proven experience with VVPM, MLR processes, and client submission requirements

Skills
• Expertise in Veeva Vault Promo Materials (VVPM)
• Strong experience in MLR reference tagging, linking, and annotation
• Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical promotional compliance
• Ability to interpret and simplify complex clinical and scientific data
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Experience with modular content and omnichannel marketing frameworks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
