Medical Representative (Management Trainee)
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Promote company products to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies through regular field visits
• Conduct scientific detailing and product presentations to healthcare professionals
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff
• Achieve assigned sales targets and performance objectives
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, therapy areas, competitors, and industry trends
• Collect market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor information
• Attend medical conferences, CMEs, and promotional events as required
• Submit regular sales reports, call reports, and performance updates
• Distribute product samples responsibly in line with company guidelines
• Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and selling skills
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
Experience
• Freshers can apply
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales will be an advantage
Skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and pharma regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
