Medical Representative (Associate)
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Promote pharmaceutical products to doctors, surgeons, and healthcare professionals within the assigned territory
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders
• Achieve assigned sales targets and drive market penetration
• Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and clinical data
• Plan and manage territory coverage with regular field visits
• Maintain accurate records of sales calls, sample distribution, and customer interactions
• Conduct market research to monitor competitor activities and identify growth opportunities
• Organize and participate in CMEs, seminars, and product training programs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical marketing regulations
• Collaborate with marketing, medical, and regulatory teams for product launches and promotional strategies
• Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management
• Continuously upgrade product knowledge and selling skills
Qualification:
• B.Sc / Any Graduate (Preferred – Life Sciences Background)
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Experience:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Representative
• Preference for candidates with experience in Gastro, Gynae, Surgery, or Physician segment
Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Target-oriented and self-driven attitude
• Good territory management and planning skills
• Relationship-building and negotiation abilities
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical sales compliance
