About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage ketamine treatments under specialist oversight within a defined governance framework
• Conduct pre-treatment medical reviews and structured follow-ups for treatment-resistant mental illness and complex pain conditions
• Provide longitudinal patient care within a precision medicine framework
• Deliver telehealth reviews for mental health and chronic pain patients (as required)
• Contribute to clinical documentation within a structured digital health system
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and allied health teams to support patient care plans
• Support safe IV therapy delivery, patient monitoring, and risk management in a clinic-based setting
Qualification
• Current AHPRA registration (General or Specialist)
Experience
• Experience in one or more of the following: mental health, emergency medicine, general practice, anaesthetics, ICU, or internal medicine
• Experience with ketamine therapy is advantageous but not required (training provided)
Skills
• Confidence in managing IV therapies and monitoring patients
• Strong clinical documentation skills with high attention to detail
• Calm, clinically mature, and risk-aware approach to patient care
• Strong alignment with structured systems and clinical governance
• Interest in innovative psychiatry and interventional models of care
