Roles & Responsibilities
• Deliver quality, evidence-based medical care in the Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care needs
• Manage patients under the supervision of the Visiting Medical Officer
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain high standards of clinical care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical governance standards
Qualification
• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Experience
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience
• Previous experience in emergency medicine or high-acuity settings preferred
Skills
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Compliance with National Police Check, Working-With-Children Check (if required), and
immunisation requirements
