Medical Officer

Role & Responsibilities
• Perform patient history taking, vitals assessment and clinical documentation
• Discuss patient findings with treating consultants for care plan formulation
• Transcribe medical orders, prescriptions and investigation results into patient records
• Maintain hard and soft copy documentation including reports, prescriptions, certificates and referrals
• Prepare discharge summaries as directed by consultants
• Transcribe ultrasound scan reports into electronic systems
• Act as patient care coordinator for the centre
• Explain procedures, pre-procedure instructions and visit flow to patients and couples
• Educate patients about prescribed medications and treatment plans
• Resolve patient queries and brief them on fertility treatment options
• Liaise between patients, doctors and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient safety standards

Qualification
• MBBS

Experience
• 2–4 years preferred in hospital / fertility clinic / clinical coordination role

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
