Medical Officer

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide medical, nursing, or public health services as per the assigned post and departmental guidelines.
• Deliver patient care, disease prevention, and health promotion services at block/district level facilities.
• Assist in implementation of national health programs, surveillance, and reporting activities.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with DHFWS norms.
• Participate in field visits, health camps, monitoring, and evaluation activities when required.
• Coordinate with healthcare staff, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
• Follow government healthcare protocols, ethical standards, and patient safety guidelines.

Qualification

Experience

• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply, depending on post requirements.
• Prior experience in government health programs or public health settings will be an advantage.

Skills
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting.
• Commitment to public healthcare delivery and community service.
