About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead the informed consent process and assess potential trial participants' eligibility for study enrolment.
• Monitor participants in clinical trials to optimize safety.
• Provide medical care to healthy volunteers and patients in Phase I trials.
• Interpret diagnostic test results.
• Collaborate across departments (Project Management, Clinical Operations, Pharmacy, Laboratory Services, Quality) to ensure safe and high-quality clinical trials.
• Act as an Investigator for early-phase clinical trials.
Qualification
• AHPRA Registered: Full General AHPRA Registration status with no restrictions as a Medical Practitioner.
Experience
• Completed at least two years of postgraduate medical training (PGY3+).
