Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients involved in workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents
• Evaluate and manage both physical and psychological effects of injuries
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, psychologists, and occupational therapists
• Prepare detailed medical reports for insurance and legal purposes
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to occupational medicine and injury management
• Engage in telehealth consultations for remote patient care
Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfort with technology for telehealth consultations
• Empathetic approach to patient care
Experience
• No prior experience in workers' compensation required
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the specialized field of occupational medicine
