Medical Director General Practitioner

Role & Responsibilities
• Provide overall medical leadership and clinical governance for home healthcare services
• Ensure full compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, policies, and clinical standards
• Develop, review, and implement clinical policies, protocols, and patient care pathways
• Supervise and support physicians, nurses, therapists, and allied healthcare professionals
• Monitor clinical quality, patient safety, and risk management activities across services
• Lead clinical audits, incident investigations, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Act as the primary medical liaison with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
• Ensure ethical medical practice and high standards of patient care delivery

Qualification
• MBBS is mandatory
• Postgraduate qualification such as MD, MS, MRCP, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty is preferred
• Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain DHA licensure is required

Experience
• 1–3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or medical coordination experience is preferred
• Experience in home healthcare, primary care, or community-based services is an advantage

Skills
• Strong knowledge of DHA regulations and clinical governance frameworks
• Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage clinical risk, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives
