Medical Coder(Fresher)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Convert medical records into numeric and alphanumeric codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS
• Review medical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes as per guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Work closely with internal quality and audit teams
• Ensure timely and accurate coding to support billing processes

Qualifications
• UG / PG in Life Sciences, Paramedical, or related healthcare fields
• Educational background accepted:
– Nursing (GNM / DGNM / Staff Nurse)
– Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm D)
– Physiotherapy (BPT)
– Dentistry (BDS)
– Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biomedical, Bioinformatics
– Botany, Zoology, Biology, Optometry, Home Science

Experience
• Freshers encouraged to apply
• 0–1 year experience in medical coding or healthcare domain is an advantage

Skills Required
• Basic understanding of medical terminology
• Knowledge or interest in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to learn coding standards and guidelines
• Good communication and documentation skills
