Medical Coder

Role & Responsibilities:
• Convert healthcare-related text information into numeric diagnosis and procedure codes
• Assign accurate ICD-10 CM and CPT codes based on medical records and documentation
• Review clinical documents to ensure coding accuracy and compliance
• Maintain confidentiality and follow healthcare data protection standards
• Work closely with billing and healthcare teams to ensure correct claim submission
• Ensure coding meets regulatory and payer-specific guidelines
• Maintain updated knowledge of coding standards and healthcare regulations

Qualifications:
• Any UG or PG degree in Life Sciences, Paramedical, or Medical fields
• UG qualifications include B.Pharma, B.Sc (Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Chemistry, Botany, Food Technology, Optometry), BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BVSc, BUMS, MBBS, BPT (Biotechnology, Biomedical, Biochemistry)
• PG qualifications include MPT,M.Pharma, M.Sc (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Nursing, Zoology, Veterinary Science), MDS, MVSc, M.Tech (Biotechnology, Biomedical)

Experience:
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply
• Relevant medical coding or healthcare documentation experience will be an added advantage

Skills Required:
• Knowledge of ICD-10 CM and CPT coding systems
• Medical coding and billing fundamentals
• Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
