Manager Physiotherapy

Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across inpatient and community physiotherapy services
• Lead and oversee a multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, and Exercise Physiologists
• Drive service development and contribute to innovative models of care
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services
• Support staff development, clinical supervision, and performance management
• Provide expert clinical advice and oversee complex clinical decision-making
• Promote patient-focused care and integrate patient feedback into service improvement
• Foster open communication, manage conflict constructively, and build high-performing teams

Qualification
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent
• Current AHPRA registration
• Postgraduate management qualification (desirable)

Experience
• Minimum five years post-graduate clinical experience
• Experience in healthcare leadership or senior clinical roles
• Experience in rural or regional healthcare settings (advantageous)
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
