Junior Trainee Dental Surgeon
About the Role
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in surgical procedures including All-on-4, extractions, and bone grafting
• Participate in pre-operative planning, case reviews, and post-operative patient care
• Progress toward independent surgical case management under expert mentorship
• Collaborate with treatment coordinators and senior clinicians
• Engage in hands-on training and CPD pathways in implant dentistry
• Contribute to clinical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Valid AHPRA registration as a Dentist
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in private practice
• Exposure to surgical or implant dentistry is advantageous
SKILLS:
• Strong interest in surgical and implant dentistry
• Excellent clinical and patient communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Growth mindset with a long-term career focus
