Junior Microbiologist/Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform routine and specialized microbiological testing using standard laboratory protocols
• Conduct sample preparation, inoculation, incubation, and enumeration of microorganisms
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, incubators, microscopes, and laminar airflow units
• Record, analyze, and document test results accurately for compliance and reporting
• Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory guidelines
• Support quality control activities and assist in troubleshooting laboratory issues
• Work collaboratively to meet turnaround timelines in a high-volume testing environment

Qualification
• B.Sc/M.sc in Microbiology or related life sciences field

Experience
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in microbiological testing or laboratory operations

Skills
• Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques
• Proficiency in handling laboratory instruments and equipment
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
• Understanding of GLP and food safety compliance standards
