About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide safe and effective clinical care as a Junior Medical Officer across allocated rotations
• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients under supervision in accordance with hospital protocols
• Participate in ward rounds, clinical reviews, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as per regulatory standards
• Support emergency and inpatient services as per roster requirements
• Adhere to clinical governance, infection control, and safety standards
• Engage in continuous professional development and training programs
Qualification
• Recognised medical degree in relevant specialty
• Eligibility for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Compliance with Medical Board of Australia registration requirements
Experience
• Experience working as Junior Medical Officer across multiple clinical rotations
• Suitable for L2–L3 (Junior & Senior House Officers / Resident Medical Officers)
• Suitable for L4–L9 (Principal House Officers)
• Relevant demonstrated experience in clinical area of practice
Skills
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Knowledge of Australian healthcare standards and clinical governance
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to varied hospital settings and rotations
