Injury Management Advisor

Roles and Responsibilities:
· Provide effective, timely and comprehensive injury management services for work and non-work-related injuries/illnesses
· Undertake early intervention initiatives to minimise severity of workplace injuries
· Develop, monitor and review return-to-work programs
· Support managers and employees throughout the injury management process
· Liaise with external medical and allied health providers to facilitate return-to-work outcomes
· Provide advice on reasonable workplace adjustments
· Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation and injury management legislation
· Attend case conferences and claim review meetings
· Maintain accurate documentation and case records

Qualification:
· Qualification in a relevant field such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Rehabilitation Counselling

Experience:
· Extensive experience in Injury Management within a complex health service environment
· Strong knowledge of statutory Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management legislation
· Experience working with multidisciplinary stakeholders

Skills:
· Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
· Excellent written communication and record-keeping abilities
· Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, injury management systems)
· Ability to work autonomously and within a team
· High level of integrity and professional ethics
· Effective stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
