Job Description
The Clinical Pharmacist will work within hospital pharmacy teams across Northern Territory Health facilities, providing clinical pharmacy services to support optimal medication management for patients. The role involves delivering ward-based pharmacy services, participating in multidisciplinary patient care, dispensing medications, and providing education to both patients and healthcare staff. Pharmacists will also be involved in medication safety initiatives, clinical rotations, and hospital service improvements while gaining valuable experience in hospital pharmacy operations.

Required Qualifications
• Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
• Master’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
• Completion of a hospital pharmacy internship in Australia or relevant hospital pharmacy experience
Experience and Skills:
• Hospital pharmacy experience within Australia or completion of an Australian hospital pharmacy internship
• Strong clinical knowledge of medicines and safe medication practices
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Strong communication and patient counselling skills
• Clinical problem-solving and decision-making abilities in patient care environments
Salary Insights:
• Salary range: $92,910 – $110,781 per year
• 12% superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading
• Salary packaging benefits up to $17,000 annually
