Job Description
• Position: 2026 Hospital Medical Officer – General
• Location: Echuca, Shepparton & Goulburn Valley VIC
• Employment Type: Full Time, Maximum Term (February 2026 – January 2027)
• Hours: 76 hours per fortnight
• Classification: Specialist Year 2–9 (HM12–HM20)
• Agreement: Doctors in Training Enterprise Agreement 2022–2026

Responsibilities
• Provide clinical care appropriate to PGY2+ level

• Contribute to a supportive learning and teaching environment
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
• Medical Degree
• AHPRA General registration or provisional registration with Level 2 supervision
Experience and Skills:
• Clinical skills appropriate to PGY2+ level
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong motivation and commitment to patient care
• Adaptability across multiple specialty rotations
• Interest in professional growth and skill enhancement
