Gulf HIV Medical Advisor

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute country medical affairs plan for HIV
• Translate global medical goals and strategies into tactics that support optimal scientific exchange
• Build trust with the scientific community through peer-to-peer scientific exchange and educational collaborations
• Provide non-promotional, balanced, and reliable scientific information in compliance with company standards
• Lead Group Input Meetings and consolidate actionable medical insights
• Support clinical research activities for global and local studies
• Identify appropriate local sites and investigators for clinical research programs
• Conduct medical training for the Commercial, Access, Sales & Regulatory teams
• Provide access support, including pre-license patient access
• Report adverse events and assist the pharmacovigilance team in the assessment and completion of necessary data
• Facilitate scientific and educational activities to position the company as a scientific partner to the community
• Engage with scientific leaders in high-level discussions and build rapport
• Support research, educational activities, and ensure all activities are aligned with scientific goals

Qualification

• Physician or pharmacist educational background

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in Medical Affairs is highly preferred
• Preferably experience in the HIV therapy area
