Grade 1 Physiotherapist

Roles and responsibilities:
• Rotate across acute and sub-acute areas including acute medicine, surgery, ICU, orthopaedics, neurosciences, aged care, and rehabilitation
• Plan and implement efficient, effective, culturally responsive, and client-centered physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management
• Contribute to operational needs of the physiotherapy department across a 7-day service model
• Comply with legal, professional, ethical, and other relevant standards, codes, and guidelines
• Collaborate with senior physiotherapists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualification:
• Recognized degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT or equivalent)
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience:
• Experience working in a hospital setting or completion of hospital-based student physiotherapy placements

Skills:
• Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based physiotherapy practice
• Adaptability to work across multiple clinical areas
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
