GP - Skin Cancer Specialist
About the Role
Role & Responsibilities
• Provide specialised GP consultations with a focus on skin cancer assessment and management
• Perform skin checks, biopsies, excisions, and procedural dermatology as per scope
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a high-demand specialist skin clinic
• Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary clinical team
• Utilise onsite pathology services for timely diagnosis and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with clinical governance standards
Qualification
• MBBS with Fellowship (FRACGP)
• Specialist Registration with AHPRA with no conditions
• Postgraduate qualifications in skin cancer medicine or surgery (eg SCCA, HealthCert) are required
Experience
• Suitable for unrestricted GPs and 19AB GPs
• Skin cancer experience is mandatory
• Women’s health experience is an advantage
• Part-time availability preferred (2–3 days per week)

• Strong clinical judgement and decision-making abilities
• Excellent patient communication and consultation skills
• Ability to manage high patient demand efficiently
