GP Medical Representative
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Deliver well-planned, high-quality interactions with prioritised General Practitioners and pharmacies
• Drive performance and growth of the Specialty Products portfolio
• Promote products primarily within men’s and women’s health therapeutic areas
• Educate healthcare professionals with accurate, compliant, and up-to-date product information
• Work collaboratively with state-based colleagues to achieve team goals and sales targets
• Maintain strong product, disease, and therapeutic area knowledge
• Manage and develop a defined territory covering South East Melbourne from Caulfield to Mornington
• Build and sustain long-term professional relationships with GPs and pharmacy stakeholders
• Plan and execute territory business plans aligned with company strategy
Qualification
• Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related discipline preferred
Experience
• Minimum 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven experience in GP-focused or primary care pharmaceutical sales
Skills
• Strong business planning, analytical, and strategic selling skills
• Good understanding of the Australian healthcare system
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• Flexible, adaptive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Initiative-driven with a strong customer focus
• Current Australian full driver’s licence and own vehicle
